New cotton, peanuts product manager

Godwin, who grew up on a cotton and peanut farm in Lenox, Ga., has been with BASF as a field business representative since its acquisition of American Cyanamid. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia.

Godwin’s hands-on background, and M.B.A. from Campbell University will give him a unique perspective on the market and challenges that BASF customers and growers face, said Scott Hellofs, diversified market manager for BASF.

“Brad has been a great asset to our field business team, and we look forward to his input and direction on our cotton and peanut business,” Hellofs said.

With sales of 3 billion euros in 2002, BASF’s Agricultural Products division, headquartered in Mount Olive, N.J., is a leading supplier and marketer of fungicides, insecticides and herbicides. Based on its broad experience in R&D, manufacturing, marketing and sales, the vision of BASF’s Agricultural Products division is to be the world’s leading innovator, optimizing agricultural production, improving nutrition, and thus enhancing the quality of life for a growing world population.
