Olton, Texas, grower Lynn Gullett harvests his career-best cotton crop. In the past, Gullett planted corn on corn ground but in the last two years he's begun to rotate cotton. This year Gullett's cotton yielded five-plus to just under five-bale cotton. A career best. Take a look at his harvest.

Saturday, Sept. 15, Texas Tech University joined forces with the cotton industry to host the seventh annual Celebrate Cotton Game at Lubbock, Texas. And just as the cotton fields on the Texas South Plains are on the brink of exploding with white bolls, fans were encouraged to wear white shirts made of 100 percent cotton, to whiteout Jones AT&T Stadium.
