TEAM FOR LIFE, FARM: For more than 30 years, Todd and Charlene Sheppard have approached every challenge together as a team. They both hailed from farm backgrounds and knew that one day they’d like to have a family and a farm and ranch of their own. Along the way, with Charlene’s support, Todd earned his law degree, they raised two terrific sons, and they built a reputable Charolais cow herd. Photos by Jennifer M. Latzke
