Legend Seeds names new president

Tim Bratland has held several management positions with Legend Seeds over the past 15 years.

NEW LEADER: Legend Seeds — a Midwest independent seed company — has a named a new president.

Legend Seed has promoted Tim Bratland to president. Bratland's appointment is part of an executive transition that has founder Glen Davis moving into the role of CEO.

Legend Seeds, De Smet, S.D., is an independent seed company sells corn, soybean, alfalfa, sunflower and other seed products in seven Midwestern states and four Canadian provinces. Bratland has been involved with Legend Seeds since 1990 when he started cleaning seed for the company. In 2002, he joined the staff and began working with their production division. Since then, Bratland has held several leadership roles within the organization, most recently serving as general manager.
