Legend Seed has promoted Tim Bratland to president. Bratland's appointment is part of an executive transition that has founder Glen Davis moving into the role of CEO.
Legend Seeds, De Smet, S.D., is an independent seed company sells corn, soybean, alfalfa, sunflower and other seed products in seven Midwestern states and four Canadian provinces. Bratland has been involved with Legend Seeds since 1990 when he started cleaning seed for the company. In 2002, he joined the staff and began working with their production division. Since then, Bratland has held several leadership roles within the organization, most recently serving as general manager.
MOVING ON UP: Tim Bratland cleaned seed for Legend Seeds shortly as it was founded, then joined the company staff and has since held several management positions.
"Tim has played a pivotal role within our organization for over 15 years.
