Farm Progress staff came home with over 40 awards at the recent Ag Media Summit, held Aug. 3-6 in Kansas City, Missouri. The winning entries were part of the annual Agricultural Communications Network Communication Awards program, where communicators nationwide showcase their best work in design, photography, writing, marketing and communications, as well as digital and social media.
Mike Wilson, senior executive editor for Farm Progress, received top honors earning both Story of the Year for “Performance over pedigree” and Writer of the Year for his portfolio submission of three stories judged for their quality, depth and breadth.

Multiple members of the Farm Progress editorial team came home with top placings across the categories of Writing, Photography, MarComm, Design, and Digital and Social Media. Master Writer honors were also given to 10 members of the Farm Progress editorial team.
