Many unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs for short) are entering the business market to provide insurance companies, wildlife officials, and a plethora of other fields of work a better bird's eye view of problems on the ground.
One such UAV is the GeoBlu Explorer, a quadcopter invented by Jared Siegler of Phoenix, Ariz., which has a fit in the business of agriculture. The 24-inch-wide copter can fly over farm fields to help growers find pest or disease problems and its severity; even water deficiency or over use in fields.
The GeoBlu Explorer was chosen as a Top-10 New Product at the 2014 World Ag Expo held in Tulare, Calif.
Siegler owns GeoBluServices which makes and sells the GeoBlu Explorer copter.
