Part 1

Mike Pearson kicks off the show with a check in at the Ohio Farm Science Review, where people were happy to be back in-person despite some wet weather. Max is out in the field talking with producers. Paul Hodgen of Roachdale, Indiana tells him about yield impacts thanks to poor weather. Alex Yoast in North Carolina tells Max about this year’s successes in that state. Mike talks with Sam Hudson, Cornbelt Marketing, to take a deep dive on the corn and soybean harvest season and other market information.

Sam Hudson, Cornbelt Marketing, rejoins Mike to talk about the soybean oil market which got a scare this week. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby chats with Jacob Wade, who pushes the limits of tech on his farm.

Part 3

Mike talks with Jason Berkland of Nationwide Insurance to discuss how to stay safe on the farm during harvest.

Part 4

In the BASF Plan Smart Grow Smart series, Max talks with Andy Kapp of Clarksdale, Mo about how their plant health program positively impacted yield. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje joins the show the weekly weather forecast.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces Babe the Blue Ox, a 1983 Ford 7710, owned by Zack Smith in Kernersville, North Carolina. In the FFA Chapter Tribute Mike Pearson chats with Nicholas Neuman, Indiana State Secretary, who has big plans for his gap year after graduating high school and before college.

Part 7

Max talks with Sgt. Tracy Lillard of the Illinois State Police about best ways to get to and from the fields safely.
