Max Armstrong and Mike Pearson start off the show with a look at a surprisingly aggressive cold snap with Meteorologist Greg Soulje. Next, Chad Colby reports on all the new ag tech on display in Germany at Agrictechnica. Arlan Suderman of Intl FCStone joins Max at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting to talk about prospects for the USDA crop reports.

Arlan Suderman of Intl FCStone rejoins Max to talk about pork and beef exports, particularly regarding China and ASF. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment discusses cab interiors that he saw at Agritechnica.

Part 3

Patrick Haggerty reports from Washington D.C. on a conference on farm economics including an interview with Dr. Seth Meyer of the University of Missouri who says we’re back to “normal” farm income while acknowledging the pain out there. Mike Whalen at the Half Century of Progress shows off an old Case combine.  

Part 4

In the BASF Plan Smart, Grow Smart segment, Max talks to Luke Veren of Van Cleve, Iowa about how and why he keeps fungicides in his plan year in and year out. In the Best of the Farm Progress Show segment Max talks with Dr. Tom Eickhoff of The Climate Corporation about the challenging season and how Climate’s tools helped farmers. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje joins Max and Mike to look at the forecast for the week ahead.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max shows a variety of auger tractors. Mike Pearson profiles Miller FFA in Miller, Mo. Their FFA chapter buys large cuts from area stores and breaks them down more and sell their results. Member Kirsten Kyger tells why all the exposure to meat processing and selling helps lessons stick. In Samuelson Sez, Orion has some good news about the dairy industry.

Part 7

Max Armstrong talks to John Stika, president of Certified Angus Beef about how the organization has been doing and its plans for the future.
