Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson start off with a look at getting Farm Bill 2018 implemented with Mary Kay Thatcher of Syngenta. Max is also out in the field with a look at winter weather with BASF’s Melanie Burk. Joe Camp of Agrivisor talks with Max and Orion about the upcoming planting season.

Joe Camp of Agrivisor rejoins Max and Orion to look deeper into what’s coming this spring. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad is visiting Brian Leony in Peru, Illinois checking out floater trucks doing some spreading. Orion talk to Susan and Ben Albright winners of the National Outstanding Young Farmer award winners.

Patrick Haggerty reports from the Farm Foundation Forum in Washington on what looks like an opportunity missed for U.S. farmers. Mike Naig, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture weighs in on trade with Japan, China, the USMCA, and more. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje give us the agriculture weather forecast for the week ahead.

In Samuelson Sez, Orion is wondering “who are these organizations” who are helping support agriculture.

Max Armstrong talked to Adam Collins, V.P. of communication for MillerCoors who expresses their support for corn growers following the Bud Light Super Bowl commercial that took a shot at corn. Max and Orion are getting ready for National Ag Day coming up this week.
