Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson look at a busy news week. They hear from experts all across the country on the added stress of the trade war, the potential of USDA relief and the slow movement of the farm bill. Dr. Michael Cordonnier of Soybean & Corn Advisor talks with Max and Orion about the latest news out of Brazil.

Part 2

Dr. Michael Cordonnier of Soybean & Corn Advisor rejoins Max and Orion and they turn their attention to the U.S. crops. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment looks at the best and newest safety processes and equipment. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Western United States. The segment ends with BASF “Plan Smart, Grow Smart.”

Part 3

Max and Orion get a report from goatSteve Bridge on the poultry industry in China. Chad Colby rejoins the team to talk about tillage technology.

Part 4

Max and Orion return to hear about challenging drought conditions in Missouri from farmer Joe Celvenger in Hamilton. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Eastern United States. In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a Farmall 300 Model that will be available at the Farm Progress Show.

Part 5

In the farm broadcaster of the week segment Max and Orion chat with Dave Williams of Pennsylvania Farm Country Radio Network and hear about a new FFA in the Keystone State.

Part 6

Orion Samuelson profiles Hamilton FFA in Hamilton, Mo, hosted at Penney High School, named for hometown boy, J.C. Penney.  Member Crayton Crawford talks about their efforts in winning a national award in nursery landscaping. Orion Samuelson is looking at the take from farmers in response to the USDA aid package in Samuelson Sez, where he says they would rather have “Trade than Aid.” Greg Soulje offers his look at the weather for the week ahead.

Part 7

Max and Orion get a report from Delaney Howell about an Iowa business, Goats on the Go, that brings goats to you to control your invasive species and other junk vegetation.
