Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson start off with a report Delaney Howell at the Iowa Pork Producers Congress where trade and disease are high on the list of concerns. Paul Georgy with Allendale talks with Max and Orion about volatility in the markets and the lack of USDA reports during the shutdown.

Part 2

Paul Georgy with Allendale rejoins Max and Orion and they continue their discussion on potential crop prices. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment reviews new planters with Precision Planters’ Jason Webster. In the farm broadcaster segment, Ron Hays reports from Oklahoma.

Part 3

Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson talk to Matt Sorge of Climate Corporation about their latest technology. They also hear about the old trucks at the Half Century of Progress show with Rock Katschnig.  

Part 4

Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson hear from Russell Nemetz reporting from the American Sheep Industry Association meeting in New Orleans. In Best of the Farm Progress Show we hear from Bret Lieberman of New Holland. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje give us the agriculture weather forecast.

Part 6

In Max’s Tractor Shed, Max introduces a 1966 Allis-Chalmers D17 owned by Mackenzie Trader in Scheller, Ill. Orion Samuelson profiles Northwestern FFA chapter in Mendon, Missouri where trap shooting is a highlight. Member Gannon Shatto talks about their effort at cleaning up their hometown. In Samuelson Sez, Orion says “let’s grow up.” Orion wants our legislators to grow up and work together or accept term limits.

Part 7

Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson introduce a report from Jamie Johansen reporting from Missouri Governor Michael Parsons’ farm where she talks with the new governor about his background in agriculture.
