Mike Pearson starts off the show by handing the virtual mic to Max Armstrong who talks with American Seed Trade President Andy Lavigne about the seed supply chain for this spring. Don Roose from U.S. Commodities joins Mike to talk about the USDA crop projections report that went high on corn and took the market by surprise.

Part 2

Don Roose from U.S. Commodities rejoins Mike to talk about international trade under COVID-19. They also dig into the livestock markets which could spark a Congressional investigation. In the Colby Ag Tech segment Chad Colby takes a deep dive on modern pick-ups and their new features.  

Part 3

Mike Pearson starts off the segment with a look at planting season with Max Armstrong. Max talked with Bryce Baker of Precision Planting about their systems. Max also has a very special Tweet of the Week.

Part 4

In Max’s Tractor Shed, first Max lets you what’s going on with the summer tractor shows. Then he introduces a 1977 IH 574 tobacco special, owned by Tommie Lloyd in Youngsville, North Carolina. Mike Pearson profiles Pierce County FFA in Blackshear, Ga whose members sell poinsettias at Christmas and keep the roads clean in their area. Member Ella Griner is proud to be a member of Pierce Co. FFA because her roots run deep in the organization. In Samuelson Sez, Orion Samuelson says working together is our best bet to handle the pandemic and that our food system is strong and safe.
