First Responders from four agencies worked for 6 hours to get him out of bin where he had been trapped up to his chest. They tried using one of those rescue tubes designed specifically for grain bin rescues, but in this case, they couldn't make it work. Five holes were carefully cut in bin to get the corn out and free the man. Less than a month ago in another South Dakota grain bin, a young farmer died, leaving behind wife and three children.
