Max Armstrong talks about weekend forecast. (audio)

This sure will sound familiar to many of you. It looks like a rainy weekend ahead. Forecasters say there will be two to three inch rains this Father’s Day weekend in parts of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and some of the heaviest rains will catch Ohio again, the Corn Belt state with least corn planting progress.

The wheat industry associations continue to assure overseas buyers that our wheat is safe after discovery of GM wheat in Washington state.

The group of protesters at Jackson County, Mo., jail was estimated at 75. Carried signs and were chanting we need support. Protesters were mostly women attorneys who set off metal detectors with their undergarments when they try to meet face-to-face with clients. It doesn’t impact male attorneys.

What do you get dad for Father’s Day? The best gift from his viewpoint will be something he will remember – a little more time from you and write something for him.
