Max Armstrong was on the RFD-TV AgronThon last night where they raised $10,000 for the benefit of the FFA.

In Iowa, an animal rights activist has been charged with trespassing at a hog facility. This is the first case brought under Iowa's latest law aimed at protecting pork producers. It happened at an Iowa Select Farms sow facility north of Des Moines. It was the same place the guy broke into last year to steal a piglet.

The Ag Economy Baromter rose 12 points in March to its highest reading since October. 

It is getting easier to get a COVID-19 vaccination across the Heartland. Infections are surging in some states, including Wisconsin.

Voter turnout for local election in April is usually pretty grim. In southwest Missouri, none voted in recent election. There were 70 registered voters.
