Max Armstrong tells us more eyes are on Iowa lately. First of all, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis kicked off his White House bid in the state. Plus, two people are still missing from the apartment complex that fell in Davenport, Iowa.

In agribusiness, the USDA released this week's crop progress report. Across the country, 69 percent of the corn planted is considered to be excellent condition. Wisconsin, Ohio and Minnesota have the best crop so far with 80 percent in good to excellent condition.

However, the same can't be said in Missouri which is struggling with the corn crop.

Plus, Ohio State University Buckeye offensive coordinator Brian Hartline has opened up about his ATV accident in April-- he admits alcohol was involved.

Plus, get ready--- tomorrow is National Donut Day.

Max Armstrong's Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
