Max Armstrong's Daily Updates

Midwest Digest, May 10, 2022

Max Armstrong talks about primary elections, rain and drought across the corn belt, planting progress, the Field of Dreams and more.

Primary elections will happen on Tuesdays over the next several weeks. The first happens tomorrow in Nebraska.

Nebraska got some rain and relieved some wildfires last week.

Some parts of the corn belt have had too much moisture, and corn and soybean planting are behind normal pace.

A car wash owner in Indiana tipped off authorities that an escaped inmate and corrections officer were in the area. The two were caught yesterday, and the corrections officer took her own life.

The Field of Dreams could be home to a 3,000 seat permanent stadium, in addition to the structures already planned.
