Max Armstrong tells us about a wildfire in Grayling Township, Michigan. The fire roared over the weekend and burned three square miles. Even Interstate 75 was closed for a while in both directions due to the fire and evacuated 300 people. It was determined a campfire on private property started the blaze.

In agribusiness, the cost of eggs is stabilizing. A dozen of eggs price has dropped from the high last year due to the Avian Flu. There are now more hens meaning more eggs back in the market.

And 10 infants have now died due to the Bobby pillow known as the newborn lounger. The Federal Trade Commission is asking Facebook Marketplace to stop selling them since they have been taken off the market everywhere else.

Plus, a race taking over the streets in Chicago, Ill. is causing havoc there due to the closing of streets and the traffic backups.

And, it's Daniel Boone Day and National Chocolate Ice Cream Day.

Max Armstrong's Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
