Summer is officially here, especially with the heat. Before heading to the pool, check to make sure it's open.

Growers are looking back to 2012, when it was hot and dry. If the midwest corn can get an inch or two of good rain, crops should be ok. However, by next month, yields could decline if no helpful precip falls.

Gas prices have slipped back, but don't get too comfortable, says Max. 

Chicago's tourism industry is trying to bring it back with a new slogan, When you go, you know.
