Smoke from the Canadian wildfires continues to impact areas of the heartland, including, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Grain markets have been quieter lately, and speculators are looking ahead to the corn and yield forecast coming up.

In Michigan, Carl Levin is being remembered.
