Max Armstrong examines an Italian study that refutes, "Failure to yield," a white paper that said GMO crops did not accelerate yields.
The Italian study included scientists looking at peer reviewed studies (21 years of data) that showed GMO crops do accelerate yields.
In the Italian study, it found between 1996-2016 GMO corn increased yields anywhere from 5 1/2 percent to 24 1/2 percent and cut down on dangerous contaminants that could hurt our health.
Max Armstrong's Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
