Some consumers are raising chickens, growing their own food and finding other ways to adjust to food inflation, according to a new survey by International Resources Incorporated. Many feel the situation is worse than a year ago. Eighty-two percent of Americans are making changes when buying groceries, and almost half have been cutting back on non-essentials. The survey also noticed an uptick in meals prepared at home, however holidays and increased flu and COVID may have also impacted.
