Max Armstrong offers insights from Charles Arnot with the Center for Food Integrity who is discussing ESG – or environmental, social and governance. He notes that with ESG, there will be greater attention on the impact of practices on others. CFI looked at the issue recently noting that there will be greater attention on the food production system’s impact on other areas of society. Arnott says farmers may see their farms impacted by these ESG goals.
