We're hearing more and more updates about the coronavirus. However, researchers say we're missing the opportunity to act before the disease reaches people. We should be looking at animals instead of people, as the disease is zoonotic and can be transferred from animals to humans. If we can identify the threats, authorities can take better action with animals and offer better awareness campaigns to people.
