Max Armstrong reports that in the world of reducing carbon emissions, agriculture has come a long way

February 23, 2021

Max Armstrong shares some insight on what farmers have already done to reduce carbon emissions. The report from the American Farm Bureau Federation shows that U.S. agriculture's carbon sinks offset 12% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. The report highlights the fact that cropland productivity has increased 50% since 1990. This shows that farmers are raising more food, fiber and renewable fuels while using fewer resources.
