Soybeans unable to hold export-supported gains

Corn hovers near unchanged, wheat higher. (audio)

The crop markets are mixed near midday with corn about unchanged, soybeans lower and wheat higher.

Soybeans retreated from the early gains that followed weekly exports sales that matched trade forecasts.

Corn and wheat export were better than expected to support those markets, with USDA also reporting two corn sales via its daily export reporting system.
