Short covering, charts fuel rebound

Grain market edges higher after delivery setback. (Video report)

Futures are trying to end a trying week on an upbeat note, after a short covering rally triggered buying to end November. Traders watching price charts are also trying to generate some momentum. Markets appear to be moving beyond heavy deliveries on December contracts thanks in part to tight farmer holding that’s strengthened basis in the cash market despite tepid exports.
