Lower outside markets are creating headwinds for crops, which are mostly lower. Equities and the dollar are lower as investors are beginning to doubt President Trump’s ability to grow the U.S. economy.

Crude oil is being pushed lower after a weekly government report showed a larger-than-expected increase in stocks.

Winter wheat is being pressured by forecasts showing beneficial rain this week in the central and southern Plains.

The 6- to 10-day weather forecast, which runs through late next week, also favors rain for the wheat areas.
