Corn is about unchanged and soybeans are lower as weather forecasts for this week and next week are favorable for crop development.

Those forecasts have rain this week and next week for the Midwest and cool conditions next week.

Weekly export sales were a little disappointing as the sales for all three crops were down from a week ago, with the wheat sales missing trade forecasts.

Attention is turning to USDA’s monthly crop report on August 10, which will provide an estimate for this year’s spring wheat crop.
