USDA is closed today for Columbus Day, so reports are delayed one day. On Thursday, the agency comes out with monthly supply and demand numbers. There may be a change in acreage planted.
Harvest continues at a slow pace interrupted by rain delays and there has been a wide yield variation.
Weather in Brazil and Argentina is either too wet or too dry, hampering harvest and planting.
