Cotton prices could move to mid-80s according to weekly price charts compiled by University of Arkansas' Dr. Bobby Coats.

The weekly price charts continue to point toward the possibility of cotton futures moving into the 84-cent area, according to an analysis by Dr. Bobby Coats, professor of economics with the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.

Conversely, "near-term if prices fall below 68 cents, then likely corrective price activity will get underway," he says.
