Maybe “hump day” should be renamed “bump day.”
For the second straight week, Friday’s Commitment of Traders report missed key market moves that took place after the data was collected on Tuesday. Though crop markets were volatile following Monday’s USDA Crop Progress reports, the real chaos emerged later in the week as events in Washington and Brazil rocked the trade.
