According to the latest crop report out by USDA NASS, there hasn't been much of a change in the crop condition since last week. Farmers surveyed said 74 percent of the corn crop is in good to excellent condition and 72 percent of the soybean crop was following suit.

The state falling behind in both corn and soybean condition was Ohio. Only 51 percent of the soybean crop is rated as being in the good to excellent stage and only 44 percent of the corn was rated as being good to excellent.

The survey reports what farmers are seeing in the fields in the 18 states that grew 93 percent of the corn and soybean crops in 2015.
