Corn and soybeans kept in check by widespread rain

Spring wheat futures charged higher with the July topping $7 a bushel, the first for a lead month since July 2014. Concerns about dry conditions in the northern Plains continue to drive that market.

Widespread rain this week in the Midwest is keeping a lid on the corn and soybean markets, with corn a little lower today and soybeans a few cents higher.
