The many issues impacting the markets require stepping back and taking a fresh look at the potential upside

March 15, 2020

This week Chris Barron Ag View Solutions, and Duane Lowry, Silver Creek Commodities, discuss fear, markets and opportunities. Yes, opportunities. Looking back at history, anything resembling what markets are currently experiencing always creates opportunities. The secret is to try and step back from all the emotions and try to see the opportunities.

The first step to that process is recognizing you should search for the opportunities. Fear is a good thing for only a brief period, if it helps you to respect situations. However, when you embrace fear and allow fear to embrace you, there may be nothing more detrimental than having a fear-based mindset, or making decisions from a fear-based foundation.

In this week's podcast, Barron and Lowry discuss crude oil, coronavirus, financial markets, economic outlook and of course the grain trade, but the most important part of today's podcast is the thread interwoven among all components, with possibly the most important summary of today's message found in the final minutes.

Join us and listen to today's podcast! This is a great time of year to take in a bigger picture perspective. As always, if you have any questions please contact Duane at [email protected], or Chris at [email protected].
