In this week's Ag View Pitch, the discussion looks at the holiday week, U.S./China trade tensions, and work to open the economy

May 25, 2020

In this episode of Ag View Pitch Chris Barron and Duane Lowry discuss the holiday-shortened week ahead, trying to sort out U.S./China trade tensions. They also discuss the opening up of U.S. and global economies, despite ongoing concerns related to Covid-19.

The conversation also turns to latest understood payment calculations for last week's announced Coronavirus Food Assistance Program. Marketing decisions for 2020, basis and weather are also key parts of this episode. U.S./China trade tensions will remain a cloud over markets, but the index trading Monday, crude oil and U.S. and global stock indexes, appear to have no concerns about those tensions.

As always, if you have any questions please contact Duane at [email protected], or Chris at [email protected].
