The markets closed bearish on Friday and starting a fresh week, they are trying to hold. If soybeans can finish higher today, it will be a bullish reversal on the charts. Wheat is also selling today and traders attention is continuing to follow spring weather on the southwestern Plains.

There's a vacuum of data for the next couple of weeks as USDA prepares for the March 30 Planting Intentions report. The focus of the markets is shifting from old crop to new crop, with what farmers plant in play. Tomorrow, watch for inflation report, with the Fed expected to raise interest rates when it meets next week. Outside markets are unsettled too.
