CHALLENGE AHEAD: Raising the 2022 crop has already been trouble with the supply chain, but what will the Ukraine-Russia conflict mean for input supplies?

The conflict continues in Ukraine, and the fighting raises a wide range of questions. For farmers a key question is how the conflict will impact the already challenge global supply chain. And will those issues slow access to key crop inputs for the 2022 growing season? Farm Progress 365 will offer insights in a special live online event at 1 p.m. Central time, Wednesday, March 2.

Sam Taylor, analyst-farm inputs, RaboResearch watches the farm inputs sector including fertilizer, crop protection, seed and the broader ag economy. He'll talk live with Willie Vogt, editorial director, Farm Progress about how the conflict is impacting supply. The conversation also offers a chance for viewers to ring in with their questions to get insight.

Taylor has worked in both the U.S. and European markets. Prior to joining Rabobank he worked as an equity analyst for Cleveland Research Company, covering a portfolio of agribusinesses and commodities focused on the North American, South American, and European markets. Before moving to the U.S. he specialized in agriculture and renewable energy project finance, working on large standalone projects.
