Due to excessive rainfall — 4 inches-plus — Monday night and Tuesday the Pigweed Field Day scheduled for Thursday (June 14) at the Mississippi State University’s Delta Research and Extension Center at Stoneville, Miss., has been canceled, according to Tom Eubank, assistant research/Extension professor at the center.

The event will not be re-scheduled, according to Eubank.
