OPTIMUM MARKETING TIME: Online agricultural land auctions continue to draw interest, according to BigIron Realty of Columbus, Neb.

BigIron Realty is lining up online land auctions for November and December and reports that it looks as though there is going to be a nice mixture of buyer and sellers, with not too many of each. The optimum marketing time to get good results on land auctions is about six weeks.

West-central Missouri

Pettis County: 380 acres sold at online auction in five tracts for $1,360,500. These five tracts are a variety of row cropland, pastures, cattle facilities and prime hunting ground. South-central Kansas

Reno County: 142.7 acres sold at online auction for $117,727.50. This is a mixture of cropland, grass and trees, and an excellent location for farming, hunting, a homestead or for livestock. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

North-central Nebraska

Holt County: 37.96 acres sold for $195,000. This nice parcel of productive real estate offers a 36-by-63-foot pole barn building that has electricity, a well and a septic tank. The property is zoned for agricultural purposes. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Central Nebraska

Northwestern Nebraska

Morrill County: 21.27 acres sold at online auction for $29,778. This parcel of farmland would be well-suited for a beginning farmer or hunting enthusiast, as the neighboring ground to the south is owned by Wetlands America Trust.
