The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Environmental Protection Agency and USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service, has launched a new Web site, www.cnmpwatch.com, for manure and nutrient management planning information.

The Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans Watch Web site is designed to assist the agricultural livestock industry and others with information and guidance related to nutrient management plans and comprehensive nutrient management plans.

CNMP Watch will provide news and information from around the U.S. to provide the most comprehensive information source possible about nutrient management planning and CNMPs. The Web site includes news, events, nutrient management tools, manure management technologies, and links to informative Web sites. Because each state has its own specific requirements, the site brings unique state-by-state information for agriculture professionals.

CNMP Watch takes a step further to provide valuable information to the agriculture industry as a whole, including federal and state government, livestock producers, and agricultural service providers. CNMP Watch utilizes the Web to create an invaluable linkage to every phase of nutrient management planning.
