New Holland's new 80 PTO-hp TD5050 high-clearance tractor combines economy and simplicity in a package that's perfect for vegetable and specialty crop growers who require narrow tires and extra ground clearance.
A part of New Holland's Lean & Mean line of dependable, economy tractors, this high-clearance tractor is available in 2WD or 4WD.
A minimum of 24.6 inches of crop clearance under the drawbar allows the tractor to work without causing damage to strawberries, tomatoes and other valuable specialty crops. The axles can be adjusted from 59 inches to 79 inches to match row widths. An optional wide row rear axle increases the rear track width to a maximum of 82 inches.
A flexible 20 × 12 transmission with creeper range is standard. The transmission features seven forward gears with speeds under 1 mph as well as seven gears in the 2 to 6 mph working range. A left-hand shuttle lever makes it easy to shift between forward and reverse.
The proven, reliable 274-cubic inch, four-cylinder turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine provides high torque backup and maximum performance.
Designed to run on standard diesel fuels or any biodiesel blend up to B100 that meets ASTM 6571 fuel quality standards, the TD5050 high-clearance tractor is Tier III emissions-compliant, fuel-efficient, durable and economical.
For operator comfort and convenience, the TD5050 features a wide, flat-deck platform that provides plenty of leg room, excellent visibility and a fully adjustable seat with arm rests. Both sides of the platform have steps to make entrance and exit easy.
The 3-point hitch has 5,025 pounds of lift capacity to handle large implements. Ample hydraulic flow is supplied by up to three rear remote valves supplied by a dedicated 16.1 gpm implement pump, with a separate 8.1 gpm steering pump.
