Land seems to be shoring up — not to be confused with soaring up. Farms exposed to buyers via the internet are selling surprisingly well. A lack of land available on the market is also keeping the price up. Marketing time to sell a farm priced at or about assessed value is 90 days.

Northeastern Nebraska
Madison County: Just over 79 acres sold for nearly $562,000. This is a nice laying dryland farm conveniently located just off Highway 121 and the Enola blacktop. According to the Madison County FSA Office, this property has 79.66 crop acres. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Eastern Nebraska
Polk County: Just over 38 acres sold for $157,645. This property is half-dry cropland, and half pasture and hay meadow. Davis creek does run through the south side of the property. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
Colfax County: A total of 160 acres sold for $1.1 million. This is a flat to gently rolling dryland farm. According to the Colfax County FSA, there are 135.82 tillable acres, 14.09 in grass and 4.93 acres in a building site. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
Central Nebraska
Sherman County: A total of 160 acres sold for $368,000. This farm is rolling to gently rolling with a good gravel road on the west and a minimum maintenance road to the north. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
Also in Sherman County, 80 acres sold for $184,000. The dryland farm is close to markets, being just north of Litchfield and the blacktop Highway 2. It is bordered on two sides by a good gravel road. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
