Available with an 8X8 Synchroshuttle or a synchronized 12X4 gear box, the new line fits a wide range of farm and ranch chores, complete with ergonomic controls in either platform, cab or low-profile configurations.
Power comes from a 4-cylinder turbo-charged Tier III Perkins diesel engine.
The new HD2600 utility tractor from Massey Ferguson offer more weight than competitors and comes in a power range from 74 to 97 gross engine horsepower. Four models include 2WD and 4WD.
The driveline of the HD2600 is made up of heavy duty castings, axles, gears and final drive components ending in a planetary gear final drive. The design reduces torque loads on the internal driveline but provides the power and speed reduction at the wheel needed for pushing, shoving, lifting and pulling.
The MF2650 and MF2660 models offer 540 rpm independent PTO, while the MF2670 and MF2680 provide 540/1000 rpm independent PTO's as standard equipment. A redesigned console also allows much easier positioning and draft adjustment for the three-point system and ground-engaging tools.
