With milk prices falling below the cost of production, timely payment has become an issue for California silage producers. But even when milk prices recover, growers may be moving toward a more quality-based pricing system. Farm Advisor Carol Frate talked about the situation following her presentation at a World Ag Expo seminar session, entitled “Pricing Corn Silage in Today’s Volatile Market.”
