Louisiana’s Ag Expo 2016 is scheduled for Jan. 15-16 at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe, La.
New to this year’s show will be a display of rare breeds of horses and a variety of horse riding and training demos. Retired Budweiser Clydesdales, Gypsy Vanners and miniature horses are just a few breeds to be featured.
There will also be educational seminars in the Entergy Educational Pavilion featuring the newest information about drones and their uses in agriculture, as well as basic gardening techniques, growing wine grapes and much more.
Returning attractions will feature the newest products and services for agriculture producers and related businesses; educational displays; a junior livestock show featuring more than 400 animals; stock dog trials featuring Border Collies; the fun and educational Ag Alley and Mini-Farm; the Master Gardener Seminar; and the Forestry Forum organized by LSU AgCenter.
Each year, more than 10,000 attend from throughout Louisiana and adjacent regions of Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas. Exhibitors come from all over the United States.
