The LSU AgCenter Jackson Parish field day will be held on July 21 at the Fannin Farm Store in Jonesboro. Registration will be from 8:30-9 a.m., with the program beginning at 9 a.m.
The program will feature LSU AgCenter specialists presenting information on horticulture and animal production, including:
Container gardening.
Ornamentals/plant diseases.
Cool season vegetables.
Lawn care.
Soils.
Weeds.
Pasture.
Beef Cattle.
The program will end with lunch. Those planning to attend should RSVP by Wednesday, July 18, by calling (318) 259-5690. The Fannin Farm Store is located at 735 Highway 4.
