Conservation could extend Rain Belt's irrigation water - Part 1

Dean Pennington says irrigation is like using a checkbook – You can’t keep taking water out if you don’t put some back in. Farmers have little control over how much rain will fall and replenish groundwater supplies. But they can help by conserving the amount of water they apply.
