The Central Arkansas Field Day is set for Saturday, July 10, in Faulkner County, Ark., featuring crop production demonstrations and discussions on sprayer calibration, forage weed control methods and more.

“This is an opportunity for central Arkansas row crop and livestock producers to see the latest production techniques at work,” said Jennifer Hawkins, Faulkner County Extension agent for the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.

Equipment dealers will be on hand to demonstrate the latest models and accessories. The agenda also includes:

• Aquatic weed control

• Rice disease monitoring

• Corn variety demonstration

• Soybean (edamame) demonstration

• Nematode control demonstration

• Forage weed control of johnsongrass, nutgrass, and other summer weeds

• Hay quality

• Fire ant control in pastures
