U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany Jr., R-La., will host the third annual Farm Day Forum. This year’s forum will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT at the Abbeville Recreational Center in Abbeville, La.

Boustany will discuss implementation of the 2008 farm bill, potential markets for Louisiana agricultural products and other issues related to the farming and ranching community.

Boustany will be joined by Louisiana Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain, Louisiana FSA Director Willie Cooper and American Farm Bureau trade expert Chris Garza.

Boustany recently received an appointment to the House Ways and Means Committee with jurisdiction over tax and trade policy.
